私たちは過去に経験したことがない危機に直面しています。見えない敵に対する恐怖、経済的な困難、日常生活の不都合などです。そうした厳しい状況の中で市政運営にご理解とご協力を頂いている全てのみなさまに感謝いたします。
一日も早く元の生活に戻っていただけるよう市は最大限の努力をしています。国の緊急事態宣言を受けて、市内の感染拡大を抑え込み経済が疲弊しないよう、不急の事業を停止し独自の対策を行う準備をしています。
我々は国や県と協力しあってこの困難を乗り切らなければなりません。誇り高い市民のみなさま、長くて深い歴史、交通が便利で自然も豊かといったことが、市川を無二のまちとして特徴づける要素です。そうした特徴を共有し全員で努力をすることができれば、必ずうまくいくと確信しています。
引き続き、不要不急の外出を控えて頂く、大人数でのイベントや活動を避けて頂く、健康管理に気を付けて頂くことを改めてお願いします。みなさまと一緒に笑顔で過ごせる日常を取り戻したいと思います。くれぐれも御身大切にお過ごしください。
We are currently facing an unprecedented crisis. It has brought us great fear as we are surrounded by unseen enemies, financial difficulties, and inconvenience in our daily lives. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all Ichikawa residents who are showing kind understanding and support in this challenging situation for our ongoing municipal operations.
Ichikawa city is putting our utmost effort into retrieving normalcy so everyone can get back to their everyday lives as soon as possible. Following a state of emergency that was announced on April 7 by the Japanese government, Ichikawa city is preparing for our own preventative measures at the moment by ramping up our efforts to contain the virus in the city, and stopping notpressing businesses in order to avoid the economic fallout.
We need to get through this difficult time together with the government and prefectural governments. Ichikawa city has very unique characteristics. Namely, we view our fellow residents with pride, and we share a long and significant history, mobility with wide-spread public transit, and great environment. I am quite certain that we can get through this situation if we encourage these characteristics between every one of us and show our solidarity.
I ask you once again to continue these ongoing preventive measures including staying at home unless you have essential business, avoiding participating in social events and activities with groups of people, and looking after yourselves to maintain your health. I am looking forward to the day when everyone feels happy again. Please stay safe and take good care of yourself.
